Cookie policy

ABIOPEP, through this document, addresses its Policy of collection and processing of cookies, in compliance with article 22.22 of Law 34/2002, from July 11 th , about Services of the Society of Information and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE).

The cookies are stored in the user’s equipment (computer or mobile device) and collect information when the webpage www.abiopep.com is visited, with the objective of improving its usability, to determine the navigation habits or needs of the users and to adapt the webpage to them, as well as to obtain data for statistical aims. In the case that the users are already clients of ABIOPEP, the information collected with the cookies will also serve for the client’s identification when accessing the different tools offered by ABIOPEP for managing of services.

The present Cookie Policy will be applied to those users who: voluntarily visit the webpages of ABIOPEP, complete data collection forms, access the tools that ABIOPEP makes available to their clients for managing the services, or use any other service present in the website that implies the communication of data or access of data for provision of services.

ABIOPEP informs the users of its webpages about the existence of cookies and makes available the present Cookie Policy to inform them about their use and objectives. Continuing navigating throughout its pages implies the knowledge and acceptance of the present Policy by said users.

ABIOPEP utilizes the following types of cookies

Classified by type
  • Own cookies: directly sent and managed by ABIOPEP.
  • Third-party cookies: anonymously sent and managed by a third party who is not related to ABIOPEP, with the aim of conducting statistical studies about webpage navigation.
Classified according to objective
  • Technical or personalization cookies: facilitate navigation, and when identifying the session, allow access to restricted-access tools, aside from customizing the configuration of the available options. They allow the provision of services that were previously solicited by the user.
  • Analysis and/or advertising cookies: to determine the number of visits received in the different sections of the webpages, the habits and trends of the users, to improve navigation and the service offered by ABIOPEP (mainly Google Analytics), as well as to manage the advertising spaces included in the webpage visited by the user. They compile data anonymously to obtain navigation profiles of the users.
Classified by duration
  • Session cookies: collect and store data while the user is accessing the webpage.
  • Persistent cookies: collect and store data on the user’s terminal for a variable amount of time depending on their final objective.

The storage time of these cookies will depend on their type and will always be the minimum amount of time needed for achieving their objective.

As the case may be, the users can configure their browser to disable or block the reception of all or some of these cookies. Not wanting to receive these cookies will not constitute an impediment to accessing the information of the ABIOPEP webpages, although the use of some of the services could be limited. If the user wishes to remove consent for receiving cookies once it has been given, the user will have to eliminate those cookies that are stored in the user’s device, through the options found in the different browsers.
